Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Colour Review

So to be honest, I’m not a fan of the liquid lipsticks, I prefer Matte products more than a gloss but I like a Matte that I know is going to stay. That’s why I will normally go to the high end of the lip products like Huda Beauty, Mac or Kylie Jenna. So when I heard so many good reviews about ultra HD Matte Lips I had to give it a go.

So I bought the shade romance because let’s be honest red is the hardest colour to pull off and I wanted to be extra.

So here’s my review let me start by saying the formula isn’t exactly ‘ultra’ matte. Which in all honest annoyed me to no end but I wasn’t surprised considering the price.

When first applied

Now I’m not being a high-end snob, because I can’t afford a lot of the expensive makeup that I may like and in general cheapish make-up is honestly not that bad but most cases the price reflects the product and with this one, in my opinion, reflected the product.

However, that being said I honestly thought were going to be super drying and uncomfortable. They weren’t,  it wasn’t even matte it was tacky.

Once the product is applied it feels pretty much weightless on the lips, however again it wore off too quick for a matte lipstick in my opinion.

That being said, the shade ‘Romance’ is beautiful for summer. A semi-bright red that goes perfectly with a late night looks and the smell is great too.

But they shouldn’t have called it Ultra matte, secondly, I would rather save up the money to get a better product again in my opinion.

After an hour and a half

Overall I’m not a big of the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Colour range.

If you’ve tried them I would be interested to know what you guys think.
